Hey guys!
I used Ubuntu for approx 7 years and moved on my main PC to Cachy now, because Ubuntu patched my 24.04.4 LTS version broken and they don’t give a shit about that. And I have to say: I missed something! My PC is now completely unchained! And I hope you support my setup (ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4, Intel Core i5-9600KF, RTX 2070 and also Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty) further.
For example:
I played Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition on Ubuntu, had a good performance but a very ugly and annoying Ray Tracing noise in red.
It’s gone with Cachy!
The performance improved overall very well. I did a benchmark with Shadow of the Tomb Raider and recorded a performance increase of 7%, with maxed out details at 1440p! But the performance of Metro Exodus has also increased.
When I start Thunderbird, Brave or other apps they start fast as hell!
I’m very glad to installed this distro and hope you keep up this absolutely awesome Linux!
