Hey all, I’m very new to CachyOS and somewhat new to Linux in general (used to use Linux Mint) but I have a problem. I recently installed Niri and have been loving it but as I was clicking around in the settings panel I must of clicked something because now I can’t open the settings menu for niri. This being the GUI where I can change my color themes, fonts, wallpapers, etc… (I think the program is noctalia) When I click on it in the launcher nothing appears and I don’t know why. Now I can’t even remember the specific settings I clicked or how to change it back. I must of clicked something wrong but I’m not sure what.
I am okay with resetting to default settings but don’t know how to do that either besides reinstalling. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

You’re likely referring to Noctalia’s settings GUI since Niri doesn’t have one.
Here’s a cheat sheet you can reference to access its different functions from the CLI:
So opening the settings menu can be done with:
qs -c noctalia ipc call settings toggle
Or the control panel with:
qs -c noctalia ipc call controlCenter toggle
Once you can access these again you should be able to get the bar configured to your liking again.
If not and something is still wrong just update us here.
