Open-world games with fast-paced traversal like LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight can often cause discomfort, depending on your settings and the distance from your display. If you find yourself experiencing dizziness or motion sickness while exploring Gotham City in the PC version of the game, the solution likely lies in your Field of View (FOV) settings.

In the PC version of the game, the default FOV is 75, which is somewhat unusual for a PC game, as it's usually set higher by default. The developers take into account that many PC gamers play closer to their screens than console players.
While this base setting is perfectly fine when playing on a television from a distance, it can cause severe motion sickness when playing closer to your display.
If you are sitting very close to your monitor or screen, increase the FOV to the maximum setting of 90 by going into the Accessibility Tab of the Options menu, scrolling down to the Camera section, and adjusting the Gameplay Field of View value. Reducing Camera Shake can also help.

Increasing the Field of View widens your camera's perspective, giving your eyes more visual context on the sides of the screen. This adjustment ensures your brain doesn't suffer from spatial disorientation during the open-world segments of the game.
While traversing the city on foot is slow enough not to cause motion sickness, the moment you hop onto vehicles such as the Batmobile or start using your grappling hook to launch into the air, you may start experiencing discomfort if your FOV settings are not adequate.
