Australia launches first 3D-printed unmanned drone boat in Southern Hemisphere

澳洲揭曉了其稱為南半球首艘3D列印無人水面船艇(USV),設計用於防禦、監控及海上安全行動。

長度為15英尺(4.6公尺)的無人機船「ASTRA 460」,由西澳洲國防部長Paul Papalia於珀斯舉行的印度洋防衛與安全(IODS)會議上正式揭曉。

此船由基於亨德森的先進製造新創公司Hyperion Systems,與海洋建築、工程諮詢公司Versatile Marine,以及AI專家Greenroom Robotics共同開發。預計將加速低成本自主船隻系統的發展,並加強國家的國內製造能力。

喬舒亞·威格利,Hyperion CEO,強調傳統船艦建造方法需要四到六週才能完成船殼。「這項劇烈的生產時間縮減突顯了增材製造對快速海運能力和國家工業韌性的轉變潛力」,威格利補充說。

據報導,它的最高速度約為40節,巡航速度在20至30節之間,以及航程最高達124英里(200公里)。它可以在不同海況下運載模塊化有效載荷,用於監視、邊境安全、偵察和防禦。

克萊因曼表示ASTRA預計將支援包括情報收集及海上安全行動在內的任務。"它的模組化有效載荷能力也允許為特定任務角色進行快速重新配置",他說。

Wigley 報導說,Hyperion 的 AI 系統和 3D 印刷能力將允許 ASTRA 船艦以多種格式和任務設置進行生產。"我們正立即籌備每月建造 10 個單位,並可根據需要擴展至超過 100 個",Wigley 补充說。

該公司透露,一艘 26 呎(8 米)的原型將在 2026 年後期交付給歐洲海軍,參與一次重大的海上演習。
