Australia launches first 3D-printed unmanned drone boat in Southern Hemisphere

澳洲揭其所谓南半球首例三维印刷无人水面艇(USV),专用于国防、监察及海疆安靖之务

长十五英尺(四点六米)之无人机船,名曰ASTRA 460,乃西澳大利亚州国防部长保罗·帕帕利亚于珀斯之印度洋防卫与安全(IODS)会议中正式揭幕。

此舟由 Henderson 地之先进制造初创企业 Hyperion Systems 与海洋建筑、工程及咨询公司 Versatile Marine、AI 专家 Greenroom Robotics 共同研发而成。其有望加速低成本自主海军系统之进程,并强化邦国之内造之能。

“USVs可大增其力,” ASTRA项目负责人雅各布·克莱因曼言。“较之传统载人船舶,其建造与运作之费甚廉,能持久驻守于海,亦为载人舰队之助。”

为国防使命而造

据Hyperion Systems言,ASTRA 460之船体,约四十时辰可成,用之大幅面增材制造(LFAM)。此法乃工业级三维印刷之一种,用以速制巨件。

欲造船体,工程之众取公司亨德森之厂所废旧聚合物以为材。其法更赖TitanCell生产平台以助之。谓之为箱中工坊,融汇机械、巨制三维印刷及回用之材。

归功于超离子系统(Hyperion Systems)

约书亚·威格利,超离子公司之长,言传统造船之法,成其船体需四至六周。增材制造之能,可骤减生产之时,此诚显其变革之效,以速成海疆之能,固工业之独立也。__JHSNS_SEG_a66bfa3e_16__威格利复曰。

哈里·哈伯特,绿屋机器人CEO,言此舟具自主导航与操控之软件,乃以其GAMA平台所成。此将使于变易之作战环境,得大之战术利也。

“争斗之境,速应变舟以应时务,得非奇胜。”彼复言。“数日之内,舟可印成,自主得启,浮于波涛。”

智航之舟

又其利者,舟可无舟中之人而自运,盖因智系统之故。此ASTRA 460者,为多职平台而设,将于二六年后五月始行海试之序。

据闻其速可至四十节,巡航则在二十至三十节之间,而航程可及百二十四英里(二百千米)。虽遇不同海况,亦能承载模块之载,以行监察、边防、侦察、防御诸务。

克莱因曼言是故天枢将辅以诸务,如谍察与海疆安靖。其模组载荷之能,亦允速变以应务之专,彼言如是。

wigley 言,Hyperion 之人工智能系统与三维打印之能,使 ASTRA 船可成于诸般形制、诸般使命之设。“吾辈即刻筹备,月成十器,若需可增至百器以上,” wigley 复言。

其公司示之,一长二十六英尺(八米)之原型,将于二零二六年后岁末,送至欧陆之海军,以参与大演。
