More on Dividend Growth Investing:
In today's article, I'm going to discuss two opportunities that have been on my watch list for quite some time and are objectively undervalued today, and are dropping to a point where their margin of safety may soon be large enough to warrant buying them.
With REITs often trading at just 50-70 cents on the dollar, relative to the market value of their real estate, private equity players like Blackstone (BX) can afford to pay a 20-30% premium and still feel like they are getting a good deal as they privatize these REITs.
My projections show NVDA could grow its dividend at a 50% annual rate and retire nearly 10% of shares over five years, compounding shareholder returns.
Many preferences have shifted considerably over time—some faster than others. The financial markets work much the same way. Trends evolve, and preferences shift, causing entire industries to rise and fall as consumer behavior changes.
While generating a lot of yield and dividend growth is very important for living in retirement off dividends, it is even more important to find investments whose dividends you can sleep well on, with a high degree of confidence that they are going to keep coming in month after month and grow over the long term. This is especially powerful when they're monthly dividend stocks, because you get that check every month rather than having to wait an entire quarter to get your next cash injection. For retirees who often have monthly bills, that can make a big psychological difference and further help them to sleep well at night, knowing that their next passive paycheck is just weeks away. With that in view, in this article, I'm going to detail two of my favorite monthly dividend machines that have also been able to grow their payouts over time.
