Job openings inched lower in March, settling at 6.866 million vacancies according to the latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS).
This represents a decrease of 56,000 from the previous month, the fourth decline in the last five months.
The latest reading was slightly higher than the expected 6.860 vacancies.
