Q1 earnings have been good so far, but only 10% of companies have reported. Those 10% have been good though, with 88% of them reporting earnings better than expected.
If you were only paying attention to the things that matter for stock prices – earnings growth, dividend yields, and interest rates – the bullish stance of the market makes perfect sense.
