Good morning, and welcome to the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Definity Financial Corporation. Please note that today's meeting is being recorded on behalf of the company. [Operator Instructions]. It's now my pleasure to turn today's meeting over to John Bowey, Chair of Definity Financial Corporation. Mr. Bowey, the floor is yours.

Thank you, and good morning. My name is John Bowey, and I'm the Chair of the Board of Directors of Definity Financial Corporation. Before we begin, I wanted to acknowledge that as we are broadcasting from Toronto today, the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples.
We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit and the Williams treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands. Honoring the land and territories of Indigenous peoples was inspired by one of the calls to action in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's report, while land acknowledgments are a way to recognize the traditional stewards of this land, true reconciliation requires action on top of words.
As a company, we've made important strides to advance our journey for Indigenous reconciliation, starting with extensive consultation with key groups, including employees, external stakeholders and Indigenous rights holders. The insights we've received are shaping Definity's approach in 2026 and beyond. I encourage everyone to continue learning as we each have a role to play in reconciliation.
