EXCLUSIVE: Mediawan has launched Wonderland Junior TV, a free FAST and AVOD channel dedicated to making available the best European kids, preschool and family entertainment in the U.S.

Offering free access to more than 1,700 episodes for kids, preschoolers and families, the launch schedule will feature titles such as Ki & Hi in the Panda Kingdom, The 3 Musketeers, Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood, Monster Loving Maniacs, Petronix Defenders and Power Players.

Additional Mediawan Kids & Family series in production for major broadcasters across Europe, including Astro Boy Reboot, Karters and Witch Detectives will be added to the programming in 2027. 

The studio unveiled the new channel as the Annecy International Animation Film Festival kicks off where it will have strong presence this year with a Work in Progress session for Astro Boy Reboot, as well as a studio focus on Lino DiSalvo’s upcoming feature Twisted.

Paris-based pan-European studio Mediawan, which is a major producer and distributor of “kids and family” content across some 70 production labels, has also signed up an array of European companies in the sector to participate in the channel.

They include Mediatoon Distribution, Xilam Animation, Normaal Animation and major European partners, with their catalogues broadening the line-up with well-known and successful titles such as Oggy and the Cockroaches, The Garfield Show and Barbapapa.

At first, this offer will be made available by well-established partners in the territory, specialized in kids’ & family content : Kidoodle.TV and Toon Goggles and on a dedicated YouTube Channel which is already live. Distribution agreements with FAST players are in advanced discussions.

The studio said the channel draws on the complementary strengths of Mediawan Kids & Family, with its focus on developing and producing premium children’s and family programming, and Mediawan Thematics.

The latter is specialized in channel publishing, programming and editorial curation, and shaping premium and brand-safe viewing environments designed to enhance discoverability and drive audience engagement across FAST and AVOD platforms.
