EXCLUSIVE: Curry Barker‘s highly anticipated next movie, Anything But Ghosts, continues to expand its cast, this time with M3GAN franchise and Thunderbolts* actress Violet McGraw.

She joins already cast Barker, Aaron Paul, Bryce Dallas Howard, and the filmmaker’s collaborator Cooper Tomlinson. The pic has already wrapped shooting in Vancouver, Canada.

Last year McGraw returned to the big screen in M3GAN 2.0 and rejoined the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thunderbolts as young Yelena Belova. She also reunited with filmmaker Mike Flanagan for The Life of Chuck, winner of the People’s Choice Award at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, and appeared in the viral music video for Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s hit single “Younger and Hotter Than Me.” Most recently, she starred opposite her sister Madeleine McGraw in The Curse of the Necklace, with both siblings serving as producers, marking the first time they shared leading roles on screen.

McGraw first broke through with her haunting performance as Young Nell in The Haunting of Hill House before going on to play Young Yelena in Black Widow. She leads the Tubi Original YA comedy Summer’s Last Resort alongside Sophia Bush and Jerry O’Connell, playing a high-strung teen scheming to break up her mom and her vice principal during a disastrous family vacation.

The actress is repped by Coast to Coast Talent Group, Linden Entertainment, and Shreck, Rose, Dapello etc.

Barker directed Anything But Ghosts and co-wrote with Tomlinson. Their Obsession movie is currently 96% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
