With Tony nominations around the corner, the musicals Titanìque and The Rocky Horror Show have extended their limited Broadway engagements into the fall, with Titanìque now continuing performances through Sunday, September 20 and Rocky Horror now selling tickets through Sunday, November 29.

Rocky Horror had been set to play through June 19, and Titanìque was to close July 12. Both shows have been doing well at the box office, especially Rocky Horror, which has been selling out Studio 54 with weekly grosses often well in excess of $800,000. Attendance at Titanìque at the larger St. James Theatre has been in the 86% of capacity area, with grosses steadily increasing in recent weeks, with the most recent figure at $790,760.

Both productions arrived on Broadway this spring and are likely to land Tony nominations in significant categories on Tuesday, both for the productions as a whole and in performance categories.

Rocky Horror, a Roundabout Theatre Company presentation, is directed by Sam Pinkleton and stars Rachel Dratch, Andrew Durand, Luke Evans, Amber Gray, Stephanie Hsu and others. The musical revival initially was set to close June 21 but received a first extension through July 19.

Titanique stars Marla Mindelle, Jim Parsons, Melissa Barrera, Deborah Cox, Frankie Grande, Constantine Rousouli, John Riddle and Layton Williams, among others. Co-written by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli, the Olivier Award-winning musical comedy “fuses a kooky krazy reimagining of the eleven-time Oscar–winning Titanic from the perspective, and certified-platinum hits, of Céline Dion.”
