Deadline on Monday launched the stand-alone streaming site for Contenders Television, its showcase of the series, stars and creators making waves this awards season.

A total of 29 panels from 15 networks and streamers took part in the two-day, live, in-person event at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday and Sunday, with the teams behind the shows diving deep in conversations in front of a packed house of TV Academy and guild voters.

The shows in lineup included ABC’s Scrubs and Abbott Elementary; AMC/AMC+’s The Audacity; Apple TV’s Pluribus, Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Shrinking; CBS’ Elsbeth; Disney+’s Wonder Man; Fox’s Fear Factor: House of Fear, HBO Max’s Task, Industry and Half Man; Hulu’s The Testaments, Paradise, Chad Powers and The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox; NBC/Universal Television’s Saturday Night Live; Paramount+’s Landman; Peacock’s Ted and Love Island USA; Prime Video’s The Boys, Bait, Fallout, Spider-Noir, The Night Manager, Young Sherlock and Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat; and Warner Bros Television’s Running Point and IT: Welcome to Derry.

Panelists featured the biggest names on the small screen, with a guest list that included Billy Bob Thornton, Andy Garcia, Rhea Seehorn, Sam Elliott, Chase Infiniti, Tom Hiddleston, Carrie Preston, Kit Harington, Marisa Abela, Glen Powell, Eric Kripke, Billy Magnussen, Andy Muschietti, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, Diego Calva, Mindy Kaling, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Quinta Brunson, Richard Gadd, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Marcello Hernández and Ashley Padilla, Ariana Madix, Grace Van Patten, Shailene Woodley, Nick Offerman, Ann Dowd, Seth MacFarlane, Destin Daniel Cretton, Riz Ahmed, Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke Donald Faison, Brad Ingelsby, Johnny Knoxville, Michael Urie, Tom Pelphrey and Karolina Wydra. And that’s just to name a few.

The flagship Contenders Television comes on the heels of Deadline’s Contenders Television: Documentary, which put this year’s buzziest nonfiction titles in the spotlight. Next in our ramp-up this awards season is the annual TV music celebration Sound & Screen TV on May 5 at UCLA’s Royce Hall.
