EXCLUSIVE: Guy Burnet, the British actor who has recently broken out with the role of Charlie Newsom in Taylor Sheridan’s hit series Landman, has signed with Paradigm for U.S. representation.
Landman is Paramount+’s drama following fixer Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) as he navigates the dangerously unpredictable, albeit booming business of West Texas’s oil industry.
Introduced in Season 2, Burnet’s Charlie becomes a love interest to Tommy’s attorney colleague Rebecca Falcone (Kayla Wallace) and will be integral to Tommy’s business efforts with Cami Miller (Demi Moore), the wealthy widow of Jon Hamm’s Monty, to be further explored in Season 3.
Burnet recently wrapped a role opposite Adria Arjona in the erotic thriller Scorn from Search Party‘s Sarah-Violet Bliss. He’ll next be seen starring opposite Jeff Daniels in the political thriller The Brink of War, a retelling of the 1986 Reagan-Gorbachev summit, which releases in theaters on August 14. Also upcoming is the actioner The Beast, where he has a role alongside Samuel L. Jackson.
Burnet continues to be represented by Lasher Group, The Way (UK), Erik Hyman at Paul Hastings and The Initiative Group.
