EXCLUSIVE: Lake Bell has signed with Gersh for representation in all areas.

Bell was most recently seen in HBO’s The Chair Company, from Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin and produced by Adam McKay. The series premiered globally in October 2025, was recently renewed for a second season, and earned two nominations at the 2026 WGA Awards for New Series and Comedy Series.

Recent film work includes Mother Couch, alongside Ewan McGregor and Taylor Russell, as well as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Summering. Her additional feature credits include No Escape, Man Up, It’s Complicated, What Happens in Vegas, Home Again, Black Rock, Pride and Glory, and Million Dollar Arm.

In television, Bell co-created, executive produced, directed, and starred in the ABC comedy Bless This Mess alongside Liz Meriwether. She also directed two episodes of Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, earning the Hollywood Critics Television Award for Best Directing in a Limited Series.

As a filmmaker, Bell made her feature directorial debut with In a World…, which she also wrote and starred in. The film premiered at Sundance, where it won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award. She later wrote, directed, and starred in I Do… Until I Don’t.

Bell is also an accomplished voice actor, voicing Poison Ivy in MAX/DC’s Harley Quinn, Black Widow in Marvel’s What If…?, and Chloe in Illumination’s The Secret Life of Pets franchise.

Bell’s 2025 book All About Brains: A Book About People, published by Simon & Schuster, was inspired by her daughter’s epilepsy diagnosis and celebrates neurodiversity. Her audiobook Inside Voice: My Obsession with How We Sound was named to Publishers Weekly and Literary Hub’s Best Audiobooks of 2022 lists, with Business Insider naming it the Best Nonfiction Audiobook of the year.
