A new group of couples are preparing to have their relationships tested after Netflix renewed Temptation Island for a third season.
The renewal comes less than a month after the second season dropped on the platform.
The dating series has performed well for the streamer, with Season 2 hitting Netflix’s Global Top 10 ratings with 2.5M views in its first week. This was broadly in line with the ratings for the first season, which also made it into the Top 10 when it was released in March 2025, where it averaged 2.7M views in its first week.
It’s the latest dating hit for Netflix, which has found success in the genre with Love Is Blind, and more recently, Age of Attraction, which was renewed for a second season after debuting with 3.8M views over its first week.

Casting has begun for Season 3, which again will be hosted by Mark L. Walberg.
The series sees four couples, each at a crossroads in their relationship, head to Temptation Island to put their love to the ultimate test as they agree to live separately with a group of singles of the opposite sex. Will the choices they make push the couples closer together or farther apart into the arms of a new lover?

Temptation Island is produced by Banijay Studios North America with David Goldberg and David Friedman serving as executive producers.
Netflix’s VP Unscripted Jeff Gaspin recently told Deadline that it’s a big genre for the streamer. “Dating is something that’s worked really well for us,” he said at the recent Reality TV Summit.
