EXCLUSIVE: Buchwald is adding to its footprint in the sports space with the signing of former NBA star, producer, and media personality Baron Davis for representation in all areas.

The agency will rep Davis in film, TV, branding, business development, publishing, media rights, voiceover, and non-fiction.

A two-time NBA All-Star and former player for the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, and Charlotte Hornets, Davis most recently appeared as a contestant on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars. He retired in 2016 after a 17-year career having led the league in steals twice.

Davis’ film and TV producer credits include Crips and Bloods: Made in America, 30 for 30: Sole Man, and The Drew: No Excuse, Just Produce. He also executive-produced Hulu’s WTF, Baron Davis and directed, wrote, and stars in the upcoming comedy Domino: Battle of the Bones.

He has founded companies including Sports, Lifestyle in Culture (SLiC), Business Inside the Game (B.I.G.), UWish, and More Than Us, and founded the Black Santa Company, which promotes African American stories and figures across America. 

Davis joins a growing roster of sports talent at the agency, including Olympian Apolo Ohno, NFL stars Tommy DeVito and Prince Amukamara, and OBL (One Basketball League), founded by NBA great Tracy McGrady, among others.
