EXCLUSIVE: Filming has wrapped in New Jersey on U.S. indie feature Exit Right, starring Susan Sarandon, William H. Macy and Marcia Cross.

Also joining them in the cast of writer-director Thomas A. Morgan’s debut are Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy), Roberta Colindrez (A League of Their Own), Amy Sedaris (Is This Thing On?), Ethan Slater (Wicked), Christopher Jackson (Hamilton), Kevin Cahoon (Monarch), Bonnie Milligan (And Just Like That…), and Catherine Curtin (Orange Is the New Black).

The film, which we announced two years ago but has been quiet since then, is “a love story of a husband and wife who when faced with difficult health news, trade their house for an open road — turning their days into the adventure they never knew they needed.”

Pic is produced by Lauren Bratman under her Reservoir Pictures companies banner, Andy Nahas for The Prospect Fund, Susan Sarandon through her Silly Goose Productions banner, Thomas A. Morgan through Square Zero Films, and Amanda Bowers for Phiphen. Executive producers include William H. Macy, Madison Rosa, Lawrence Aldridge, Ricardo Wever, Molly Connors, and Jimmy Price.

Sarandon is also in post on indie romance-drama The Echo Chamber with Alicia Vikander and Luca Marinelli. The Oscar-winning American actress spoke out earlier this year about Hollywood roles having “dried up” for her after she expressed strong support for Gaza.
