EXCLUSIVE: Independent Artist Group has signed actress, producer, host, and entrepreneur Crystal Renee Hayslett for representation in all areas.

Originally beginning her career behind the scenes at Tyler Perry Studios, Hayslett successfully transitioned into acting.

Hayslett is best known for her breakout role portraying Fatima Wilson-Taylor in the hit BET series Tyler Perry’s Sistas, currently on its tenth season, and leading the dramedy’s Paramount+ spinoff series Zatima, now on its fourth season.

Sistas follows a group of single Black women in their 30s as they navigate their complicated love lives, careers, and friendships through the ups and downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. Hayslett’s character Fatima is the lead character, Andi’s assistant, and wife of Zac (Devale Ellis), her co-lead in Zatima, which centers on their relationship.

Zatima is currently streaming Season 4B, which runs until July 7. Currently, the couple is navigating major personal milestones, and mounting pressures from those around them begin to test their relationship and resilience. Shifting loyalties, complicated emotions, and unexpected challenges force their circle to confront difficult truths, as new opportunities and past tensions collide—raising the stakes and setting the stage for lasting consequences.

In addition to her work on the two shows, Hayslett starred in Universal Pictures’ Praise This and has appeared in projects including The Game and Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming.

Beyond acting, she has built a successful career as a producer, host, and entrepreneur, working both in front of and behind the camera with her podcast, Keep It Positive, Sweetie, garnering over 13 million views, according to iHeartMedia.
