EXCLUSIVE: Comedy Bang! Bang!, the improvisational interview show hosted by writer and comedian Scott Aukerman, which marks one of the world’s longest-running comedy podcasts, has inked a deal for a multi-year extension with SiriusXM.

The three-year agreement continues the production, distribution, and exclusive ad-sales of Comedy Bang! Bang! by SiriusXM, where the show remains a cornerstone.

Launched all the way back in 2009 — originally, as Comedy Death-Ray Radio — Comedy Bang! Bang! blends celebrity interviews, improvisation, recurring characters, and absurdist comedy into a format that has influenced an entire generation of comedy podcasters and performers. The show’s door is always open to an assortment of eccentric oddballs and characters who pop by at any moment to chat, compete in games, and engage in comic revelry, including frequent guests Paul F. Tompkins, Jason Mantzoukas, Lauren Lapkus, Adam Scott, Ego Nwodim, Nick Kroll, Bob Odenkirk, and many more.

Downloaded around 10 million times per year, the show has led to multiple spin-off podcasts, a New York Times bestselling book, and a television series that ran for five seasons on IFC.

“When I started this show seventeen years ago, I had a dream: to extend my contract with Sirius XM Holdings, Inc. in 2026 for an additional three years,” Aukerman joked. “Now it’s finally coming true, and the 12-year-old me would have been very proud.”

With a roster that spans comedy, true crime, wellness, business, and entertainment programming, the SiriusXM Podcast Network represents more of the top 20 podcasts than any other network according to Edison Research, reaching 1 in 2 podcast listeners in the U.S. each month. The new deal will carry Comedy Bang! Bang! through its landmark 20th season.

Comedy Bang! Bang! is produced by Jeff Fox and executive produced by Codi Fischer. New episodes will continue to be available every Monday on the SiriusXM app and all major listening platforms. Bonus episodes will be released every Thursday in the podcast’s feed.
