Argentum AI has reportedly taken a significant step by signing a deal worth around $2.5 billion with cloud gaming firm Boosteroid and real estate company DL Invest Group to build a 300-megawatt data center in Europe.
The prime motive behind this revelation is that Argentum will now accelerate compute deployment processing unit infrastructure within its data center.
To achieve this, the company is slated to use tens of thousands of next-generation GPUs, including Nvidia’s Blackwell systems in the future.
This move marks it as one of the largest independent AI infrastructure projects in the region. This shift comes as the tech industry rushes to secure computer capacity to meet soaring demands, ultimately leading to the emergence of independent infrastructure such as Argentum. The companies will formally announce the deal later today.
Separately, Argentum has confirmed that it is in talks with US financial institutions and global investment banks to secure financing for large-scale AI infrastructure deployments.
It is pertinent to note that Boosteroid has deployed dense GPU infrastructure in 29 data centres across Europe and the Americas.
In addition, only time will decide how effectively these billion deals will deliver fruitful results for the future.
