The Boys has a storied run, with years of critical acclaim and pop culture domination.

However, the last season, particularly, became somewhat 'controversial'.

But the series creator Eric Kripke defended the show, calling it "no TV show is perfect".

In an interview with Variety, he was asked about anything he would do differently.

Kripke's response: a resounding no.

"No, we landed where we wanted it to land. Did some stories work better than others?" 

He adds, "Absolutely. There’s no TV show that is perfect, and every storyline is perfect all the time."

The Boys' maker says he is content with how the series has ended.

"But all of those stories got us to this place. I’m happy with where it landed."

"It’s been the best professional experience of my life. If I could do it over, I would do it again," he concluded.

Though The Boys ended, the universe of the supes will continue with two spin-series.
