NASA is all set to host a news conference to officially share Moon Base plans and spotlight advancement toward sustainable lunar habitation. 

The primary motive behind this conference is to discuss program progress, including new industry partners and mission plans. Subject matter experts will be available for one-to-one interaction after the news conference ends.

Participants in the conference include NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, Lori Glaze serving as associate administrator, and Carlos Garcia-Galan, program executive at the Moon Base.

The presence of the media who are unable to attend news conferences in person may ask questions by telephone. It is pertinent to note that participation will be confirmed in person or by phone no later than 11 a.m. on May 26. 

NASA is efficiently working to advance development of the Moon in wake of the lunar exploration program designed to accommodate sustained use and expanded scientific and commercial activity at the lunar South Pole.

Notably, NASA will send astronauts on challenging assignments to explore more of the Moon for scientific discoveries, and economic benefits laying the foundation for the future crewed missions to Mars. 

It is pertinent to note that the media briefing will officially be held at the agency’s Headquarters in Washington.
