Meghan Markle’s relationship with the UK has often been deemed frosty, and took a downward turn when she got ‘booed’ during a major event in the life of the late monarch Queen Elizabeth, since then its said Meghan has never really visited the place of which she’s Duchess of. 

One few instance was when rumors claimed Prince Harry touched down in the UK with Meghan but only he left the airport, meanwhile Meghan waited in Heathrow Airport's VIP Windsor Suite, this was when the couple was slated to jet off to Nigeria afterword’s. 

But now with rumors claiming a Balmoral summer might be in the cards for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Meghan is said to finally arrive with her husband and kids. But regarding this brand and culture expert Nick Ede has a few thoughts. 

He touched on those while in conversation with the Daily Express and it saw him address the potential mistakes Meghan is at risk of making which may end up reopening “old wounds”. 

In his eyes, “the biggest mistake Meghan could make would be appearing defensive or attempting to address past controversies during the visit.”

After all, given how rumors portray King Charles’ excitement about meeting with his grandchildren, Mr Ede said, “this visit should be about creating new memories rather than reopening old wounds.”

For those unversed, another reason for the couple’s visit is for the one-year countdown event to the 2027 Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham.
