Queen Camilla visited a school in Belfast and met staff, students, and joined their assembly on the first day of her Northern Ireland tour.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in Belfast on their first visit to Northern Ireland this year.

Sharing a video of Camilla, Buckingham Palace said on social media "After receiving a bundle of letters from Fane Street Primary pupils last year, The Queen popped into the school to meet staff, students, and join their assembly."

It said "The school is a vibrant and welcoming community, with 285 pupils representing 45 countries and speaking an impressive 47 different languages."

Earlier, the royal couple visited the Titanic Quarter of Belfast to celebrate the city hosting this year's Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, which is the world's largest festival of Irish music and dance.
