Zayn Malik, the star of One Direction, has cancelled his United Kingdom show at the last minute.
To promote his upcoming fifth studio album KONNAKOL, the 33-year-old English singer had to perform at Circuit, Kingston, at 9 pm, where he would play new songs from his yet-to-be-released album.
Before the concert, Zayn fell “sick,” which resulted in the cancellation of his show. The disappointing news for the Night Changes crooner’s fans was announced by concert promoter Banquet Record.
Taking to Instagram, they shared, “ZAYN POSTPONEMENT. Gutted to say Monday's ZAYN events are postponed due to illness - we send our best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.”
“We'll be back to ticket holders later in the coming week. thanks for your understanding and sorry again for the disappointment,” his record company added.
They also asked fans to read Zayn’s message below, which read, “I'm really sorry but unfortunately I am sick and I won't be able to make it to the UK this week as planned.”
“We're already in the process of trying to reschedule the Banquet Q&A and will be sharing new dates soon. Working on getting each of your info as well to send you something,” he continued.
“Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Big Love xx Zayn,” the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker concluded, showing love and extending his gratitude to his fans.
It is pertinent to mention that Zayn Malik’s album KONNAKOL, a culturally inspired project with 14 songs, is scheduled to be released on April 17, 2026.
