Jimmy Kimmel has settled his score with Robert F. Kennedy Jr after he claimed that modern late-night comedy has declined following Stephen Colbert's Late Show cancellation.
On Sunday, the Health and Human Services Secretary praised a viral satirical dissection video claiming that the modern late-night comedy had been transformed into a "congregation" rather than a comedy show. The dissection was posted on X on Saturday by Peter Girnus, two days after Stephen Colbert's late-night show pulled off.
Meanwhile, Robert also used the post to take aim at Jimmy Kimmel, saying that the video is the "best explanation of how we’ve reached the nader where Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel can say 'It’s not my job to be funny.'"
The politician further said of Jimmy that "he was hired as a comedian but he made himself a priest."
Kimmel, in response, took to his Instagram on Monday morning and shared a screenshot of Robert's post, and mocked the politician's misspelling in the pink text overlay.
He fired back, "It's 'nadir' dummy. Now get back to spreading polio."
Kimmel’s Polio jab is apparently a reference to RFK Jr.’s controversial views on vaccines and it has been a recurring topic of feud between the two since Robert was appointed Secretary of Health and Human Services earlier in 2025.
