Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., has announced that she has breast cancer.

The 48-year-old American model shared the news on social media on Wednesday. 

“While this isn't news anyone expects,” Vanessa penned on her Instagram handle on May 20, “l’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”

“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” she added.

Vanessa also expressed her gratitude to her followers for their kindness and support.

“I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery,” she concluded.

For those unversed, Vanessa shares five kids with her ex-husband - Kai, 19, Donald, 17, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11. The two parted ways in 2018 after 12 years of marriage.

Earlier this year, a source told People magazine that the exes remain "a team when it comes to coparenting".

The American model is currently in a relationship with pro golfer Tiger Woods.

Recently, an insider confirmed to Page Six that Vanessa really likes Tiger.

“He’s like the hottest bachelor of Palm Beach,” the source said.  “He’s the biggest golfer in the world, and he’s a gazillionaire. There aren’t that many options.”
