Princess Eugenie’s baby lands in the middle of Succession...
2026-05-21 · via The News International -latest news

News of Princess Eugenie’s new baby has hit each member of the Royal Family a different way sources warn. While some like King Charles threw their weight behind the expectant mother to be others are starting to grow angry, even offended at the idea of other harder-working royals being pushed down the line of Succession as a result of this new arrival that is still months away from coming Earth-side.

A Palace source explained the growing dissatisfaction given Eugenie is currently 12th in the line, making her third baby 15th behind his two brothers.

But that would also mean royals like Prince Edward, and Princess Anne, would be pushed further down the royal line of Succession, almost to 16th and 19th respectively.

While talking to Woman’s Day it was revealed that this has made many incredibly peeved. So much so that they are starting to question why some of the hardest working royals should be pushed down compared to Princess Eugenie’s little family, considering she is not a working royal.

The source was quoted saying, “Edward and Anne are two of the hardest-working family members, carrying out hundreds of engagements on behalf of the King every year.”

Plus “Andrew is persona non grata because of his links with Jeffrey Epstein, and Beatrice and Eugenie are not working royals.”

So the question is “why should they take precedence over the King’s siblings who epitomise everything the royals stand for, such as dedication to duty?”

For those unversed with the circumstances currently enveloping the ex-Yorks, here is the breakdown. Sarah Ferguson has gone into hiding and is said to remain there unless an opportunity 'too good to pass up' comes her way.

As for what got her into this in the first place, it began once the details of her personal life and friendship with Jeffrey Epstein came to the forefront due to the DOJ's decision to release the Epstein Files.

Andrew faces something similar, and its connected to the reasons he got his titles, his dukedom and his honors revoked, which is his connection to the same financer.

Furthermore, was the allegation that he engaged in misconduct while in public office, as a Trade Envoy to the UK that he even wound up arrested over. Some say during this time he even shared information with Epstein.
