
























Kit Harington recently opened up about fans’ love for Game of Thrones that makes him feel “old.”
For those unaware, Game of Thrones, a fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, debuted on HBO on April 17, 2011. Harington was 24 when he appeared in the first season to play Jon Snow, the bastard of Winterfell.
On May 12, the 39-year-old English actor attended the Disney Upfronts at the Javits Center in New York City, where he conversed with Entertainment Tonight about the series that shot him to stardom.
When he was asked to share how he feels years later since the show dropped its first season. He replied, “I'm starting to feel old.”
“I went to a shop yesterday, and this lovely young man said, ‘I love Game of Thrones.' And I was like how old you? And he said 18. And I went, ‘You were 3 when I started that show,’” The Dreadful star recalled.
Articulating his thoughts on Game of Thrones’ growing popularity and how streaming played a key role in making it a fan favourite show, Harington quipped, “It's amazing that people are still watching it.”
It is pertinent to mention that Game of Thrones, based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, released eight seasons from 2011 to 2019.
It is pertinent to mention that Kit Harington earned Emmy nominations for his outstanding performance in the series following the release of season 6 in 2016 and the final season in 2019.
