Ivanka Trump is sending her love to her former sister-in-law Vanessa after she announced her breast cancer diagnosis.

Vanessa took to her Instagram handle on Wednesday and announced that she has breast cancer.

"While this isn't news anyone expects," she began. "I'm working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan."

"I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me," added Vanessa.

For those unversed, the 48-year-old American model shares five kids with her ex-husband, Donald Trump Jr – Kai, 19, Donald III, 17, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11. The two ended their relationship in 2018 after 12 years of marriage.

In the post, Vanessa also thanked her followers for their kindness and support.

"I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery," she concluded.

Ivanka was among the first to comment on the post and offered her support after Vanessa revealed the news.

"Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama," she penned.

Vanessa's daughter Kai also showed support for her mother by writing, "Strongest person I know. Love you."
