With the new prompt suggestions feature, Ask AI automatically reads through your selected articles and recommends relevant questions to kickstart your research. These suggestions come in two forms:

Getting actionable results from an LLM comes down to tapping in to a relevant data source and crafting the right prompt. That’s why we’ve introduced prompt suggestions in the Ask AI feature, to help you get started faster. Now, when you select your articles, Ask AI will automatically suggest a prompt tailored to the content you've chosen. These are specific queries to the themes and context of the articles you're analyzing, making them especially relevant to your research goals.
The suggested prompts come in two forms. Dynamic Prompts are generated in real time by Feedly’s large language model based on the content of your selected articles. Expert Prompts, on the other hand, are carefully crafted by our in-house analysts and aligned with common investigative workflows. Both options are designed to guide your thinking, speed up your research process, and help you extract meaningful insights with less effort.

Imagine you're a Competitive Intelligence Analyst at a fintech company, and PayPal is one of your main competitors. Simply set up an AI Feed tailored to your research focus, in this case, tracking PayPal’s strategic moves. Once you select relevant articles, Ask AI instantly suggests a prompt to help you dig deeper. One example: “How are payment companies expanding their global reach?” A question like this helps you move beyond surface-level research and uncover broader strategic insights that could impact your company’s roadmap.
In this example, we’re taking a closer look at one of the trends surfaced by my Emerging Trends Dashboard, which tracks AI developments in the professional services industry, specifically trends that could impact SaaS companies. The trend here is AI-powered practice management. After selecting a few relevant articles, Ask AI suggested the prompt: “What are the key benefits of AI integration in professional practice management?”, a strong starting point to explore the strategic opportunities this trend presents.
When a story is gaining traction, you can quickly access its Insights Card by clicking the green metadata tag at the top of the article. In this example, we’re diving into a top story about the EU’s ratification of the High Seas Treaty, a development with wide-reaching implications across countries and industries. Ask AI suggested the prompt: “How many countries have ratified the High Seas Treaty so far?”, a useful starting point to generate a clear, up-to-date overview of global adoption and the treaty’s potential impact.
Sometimes, research calls for a deeper dive into a single article, and Ask AI makes that easy as well. When reviewing an AI Feed about Apple’s consumer behavior, one article stood out. When selected, Ask AI suggested the prompt: “Why did Morgan Stanley lower Apple’s price target?” This provided a concise summary that addressed the key question behind the article, saving time and helping quickly understand the core insight.
Curious about which markets your competitors are targeting next? Ask AI can help you with this too. In this case, we are using Ask AI in Power Search which is a great way to dive into one-off research queries. In this example, we ran a search on Hyundai’s recent location expansions. Ask AI instantly suggested the prompt: “What investments is Hyundai making in new manufacturing facilities?” Instead of sifting through each article manually, Ask AI gave a concise summary that pulled insights from across multiple sources, providing a clear overview in seconds.
