Newegg bundle

If you’re in the market for a new AM5 machine, Newegg has you taken care of with this unbelievable 4-item combo. For just $2,269 (an incredibly $899.97 off when bought alone) gets you one of the flagship and one of the fastest gaming processors from AMD in the recently released Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, 64GB of G.Skill Ripjaws DDR5-600 RAM, a wicked-fast 4TB Samsung 990 Pro SSD, and the MSI MPG X870E Carbon Wifi motherboard. The $900 off this stellar combo essentially makes the RAM $10 or the 4TB of storage $100, taking a lot of the sting out of buying PC hardware today.

Check out this deal on Newegg

The CPU in this combo is the latest and greatest from AMD in the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2. The new chip is the first to add the extra 3D V-cache to the second CCD, which could speed up gaming and other workflows. The chip has 16 cores and 32 threads, with a maximum boost clock of 5.7 GHz. Our review of the processor showed it didn’t improve much in gaming, matching the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Still, it showed a 4% overall improvement in multi-threaded loads and significant improvements in specialized workloads.

As part of the combo, Newegg is throwing in 64GB (2 x 32 GB) of G.Skill Ripjaws S5 DDR5-6000 RAM. This unassuming (read: no RGBs) kit has decent timings for CL36-36-36-96, which is perfect for everyday activities, including gaming, and especially for productivity or creative workflows where you can more easily surpass 32GB. The black RAM matches the combo's theme and will look great on the included motherboard.

Next is the 4TB Samsung 990 Pro. This PCIe 4.0 x4 (64 Gbps) drive not only has plenty of space to store your games or other files, but it's fast too. We reviewed this drive and loved its top-tier performance across multiple tests, reaching speeds of up to 7,450 MB/s reads and 6,900 MB/s writes. The powerful, single-sided 4TB SSD uses TLC cache to keep things performing as they should for long transfers and is one of the fastest PCIe 4.0 drives we tested at the time, and fits in well with all the other high-end parts in the combo.

Last but certainly not least is the MSI X870E Carbon Wifi motherboard. We also reviewed this board in the past and loved the robust power delivery (perfect for the 9950X3D2), the dual Ethernet ports, EZ features, storage options (4x SATA, 4x M.2 sockets - one PCIe 5.0), and ample connectivity on the rear IO, including four USB Type-C ports (2x 40 Gbps). The all-black motherboard sports a cool RGB design element of the MSI dragon on the VRM heatsink to break up the monotony and lend some bling to the inside of your chassis.

In the end, we like this combo as it takes some of the pain out of buying a PC today. Priced at $2,269 and an amazing $899.97 (28%) off, you’re not going to find a better deal out there for a combination like this. Flagship-class processor that’s great for gaming and anything else you can throw at it. 64GB of RAM, tons of fast storage, and a high-quality motherboard make this a well-rounded, but especially well-priced deal in today’s market.
