Planning a new gaming PC build? Newegg has two brilliantly-priced combo deals that combine a top spec motherboard with cheap DDR5 RAM for either an AMD or Intel build. The first kit is this Gigabyte Z890 bundle with 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM for $589.98, bringing the cost of the RAM down for this all-black, Intel-friendly set to just $239.99.
The other bundle, meanwhile, features the same RAM, but it's all white and all AMD. This AM5 set features a Gigabyte X870E motherboard with 32GB DDR5 for $664.99, so you'll be getting the RAM for only $275, with a high-spec motherboard to build with.

Whichever bundle you choose, the RAM you're getting is the same (almost). It'll differ in color, with the AMD bundle featuring a white motherboard and RAM, and the Intel bundle settling on a black colorway. Regardless, it's the same spec for both sets of Corsair Vengeance RAM, shipping as a dual-channel kit with two 16GB modules, making up 32GB in total.
It's DDR5, rated at 6,000 MT/s, which is a significant speed increase over DDR4 modules, where 3,600 MT/s would be the best you'd usually expect. This is overclockable, with both Gigabyte motherboard choices supporting Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles to tweak your settings. Both kits feature RGB lighting, too, which you can customize using Corsair's iCue app. This RAM, on its own, would set you back $439.99 right now at current market prices, so it's much more affordable to grab it in a bundle like this if you can.
The RAM is good, but both boards on sale here are solid choices for a top-spec gaming rig. The Intel combo bundle above comes with a Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Master Ultra Core motherboard, which we tested in this review. As we said at the time, this is an option that gives you everything you'd want from a mid-range motherboard.
That includes plenty of USB ports, with 14 in total on the rear I/O. There's also 10Gb Ethernet included, so fast connectivity is a given, along with support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. There are no fewer than five M.2 sockets, with two that support Gen 5 speeds. A whole host of features that gamers will love are included here, too, including 'EZ' DIY-friendly options to help make the process of building your PC much easier. It features an Intel LGA 1851 CPU socket, so it'll support Arrow Lake CPUs like the new Intel Core Ultra 270K Plus.
While the Corsair RAM included in this bundle won't quite stretch this far, this board supports up to 256GB in total, with overclocked speeds of up to a whopping 9,500 MT/s. If you're thinking about longevity, this is a board that will deliver it. Meanwhile, the black colorway, mixed with RGB lighting for the Aorus branding, makes this motherboard an obvious one for gamers.
With a little extra to spend, this alternative Gigabyte-Corsair duo would make a perfect start for an all-white AMD PC build. The same RAM as before, but in white, so no difference to worry about there, but the $664.99 price means that you're effectively paying just $275 for the memory here.
As for the motherboard, you're getting the Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite X3D Ice instead. The name makes it clear that this is a board built with AMD's 3D V-cache chips in mind, with support for Gigabyte's X3D Turbo 2.0 functionality that uses AI to deliver real-time tuning to help get the most juice out of your ultra-fast processors.
Cool AI features aside, this is another premium mid-tier board. It has the same 'EZ' DIY-friendly build, and includes four M.2 slots for SSDs, with two apiece for Gen 4 and Gen 5 speeds. It's a WiFi 7 board, includes Bluetooth 5.4 support, and has a 5Gb Ethernet port. There are also 11 USB ports on the rear I/O to choose from, mixed between USB-C and USB-A at various speeds.
RAM is expensive right now, and with no sign that the AI boom is cooling any time soon, a Newegg combo makes it a much more affordable option. Pick up the AMD bundle for $664.99 or the Intel bundle for $589.98, and either way, you're saving over $100 compared to buying it or any other rival RAM kit separately.
