Six real households decamp to a village where they live at close quarters and gradually vote each other out. Everyone participating has clearly watched a lot of similar shows, so there’s much talk of “threats” and “gameplans” as the first family are, for no good reason, sent home. Jack Seale

If it were all about instantly meme-able moments, Gemma Collins has already won this season of I’m a Celebrity, from “critter canapes” to Sinitta telling the GC “you don’t really do anything, but you make people laugh”. But can she compete with Scarlett Moffatt’s cracking one-liners? All will be revealed in the live final. Priya Elan

Unreported World: Children of the Crossfire

Unreported World often finds foreign stories that haven’t made headlines here, but this week’s edition samples the aftermath of events that were front-page news worldwide. Paul McNamara reports from Minneapolis, where raids by immigration enforcement officers have left families too frightened to leave their homes, children coping with lingering anxiety, and one household feeling they have no option but to return to their old country, Ecuador. DI Goodman goes further into the woods (literally) after the discovery of an unconscious man covered in green paint and ivy. After meeting a community of off-gridders (soundtracked by the Levellers), Goodman and his team uncover a familial battle over land ownership. Meanwhile, Martha tries out some misanthropic life advice from Margo. PE

Pompeii: The Secret DNA

9pm, Channel 5

This archaeological documentary tells an unsettling story about Pompeii: it wasn’t a happy or functional place even before it was buried under tonnes of volcanic ash. With access to recent finds, a picture emerges of a harsh and divided society (sadly, not without modern resonances) in which great wealth was hoarded by a tiny minority of citizens. Phil Harrison

There are dates in store for Ava, who meets a hunky male sex worker (“it pays the bills but my dream job is magician”) over mini-hamburgers at a party, and for Deborah, with 46-years-younger pop star Nico Hayes (Chris Briney). But if the latter starts out as a publicity stunt, might it actually turn into the real thing? Ali Catterall

Skyscraper (Rawson Marshall Thurber, 2018), 11.20pm, ITV1
The Towering Inferno meets Die Hard in Hong Kong and watches Mission: Impossible on autoplay. Yes, Rawson Marshall Thurber’s action-festooned thriller may be a copy but it’s an accomplished one. Dwayne Johnson stars as FBI agent turned security expert Will. His job validating the safety of the hi-tech Pearl – the tallest building on Earth – leads him and his family into a perilous escape from a blazing building and a criminal gang, all at over 3,000ft. The many spectacular, vertiginous stunts, some featuring Will’s false leg, are reason enough to watch this. Simon Wardell

A Hole in the Head (Frank Capra, 1959), 1.45pm, Sky Arts
Frank Sinatra’s Miami hotel owner Tony has high hopes (he knows an Oscar-winning song about that!) in Frank Capra’s chatty romantic drama. Sadly, he’s also a failing businessman with an eye for the ladies – currently, Carolyn “Morticia Addams” Jones’s free-spirited Shirl. With a freckle-faced son to care for, his only financial recourse is his successful, judgy elder brother Mario, who reluctantly comes down from New York. But Mario’s chequebook comes with marital strings attached in the shape of eligible widow Eloise. A breezy tale kept aloft by Sinatra’s chancer charm. SW
