























Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the arrest of nearly 240 individuals in security operations carried out across two provinces, Kurdistan and Kermanshah, News.Az reports, citing Al Jazeera.
In Kurdistan province, the IRGC said it detained 11 people and also killed one member of a Kurdish armed group during the operations.
Authorities additionally reported the seizure of a cache of weapons and ammunition.
In separate raids in the same province, nearly 70 more individuals were also arrested.
In Kermanshah province, IRGC forces arrested 155 people, whom they described as belonging to “counter-revolutionary groups,” including four individuals alleged to be spies linked to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency.
Separately, in Tehran, police announced the arrest of an individual accused of gathering and transmitting “documentation of missile strike points to hostile networks.”
