England qualified for the World Cup after winning all eight matches in UEFA qualifying without conceding a goal, although the team later faced criticism following disappointing friendly matches against Uruguay and Japan.
Tuchel’s final squad includes Jordan Pickford, Dean Henderson and James Trafford as goalkeepers, while the defensive line features Reece James, John Stones, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa and Dan Burn among others.
In midfield, Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Kobbie Mainoo and Morgan Rogers were selected, while the attacking options include Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Gordon, Harry Kane, Ollie Watkins and Ivan Toney.
The England manager appears to have focused on current form and tactical balance as he prepares the team for its attempt to win a second World Cup title, with the final set to take place in New York on July 19.
