


























At least seven people have been killed and several others injured in two roadside explosions in northwestern Pakistan on Saturday, according to a police official, News.Az reports, citing Anadolu.
The incident took place in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, an area bordering the restive North Waziristan tribal region near Afghanistan.
The explosives had been planted along the roadside.
The first blast targeted a passenger van, killing five people and injuring three others, district police chief Yasir Afridi told reporters.
The second explosion occurred as local residents were moving the bodies and injured victims into ambulances. At least two people were killed in the second blast.
Authorities are investigating the attack.
