A MAN IN his 30s who was arrested following the death of a man in Co Leitrim yesterday has been charged.
Shortly after 9pm on Thursday, gardaí responded to reports of an incident at a residential property in Arderry, a rural town land in Drumreilly, where a man in his 40s was found unresponsive.
He was treated at the scene by emergency services but was pronounced dead a short time later. Investigators believe he died following a stabbing.
Announcing the charging today, a garda spokesperson said the man would appear before a special sitting of Carrick-on-Shannon District Court at 9pm today.
