MONDAY

With my girls out of school, I wanted to wear something comfortable yet chic for a lunch date. My trousers are men’s that I found in a charity shop, and the striped top is also a charity shop find! My denim shirt is vintage from Gap, from my shop, Preloved By Shay & Jo; my jumper is 100% cashmere, and another charity shop find from a few years ago. I love to throw in a random
print, so I popped on my vintage leopard print shoes, originally from Jane Shilton and found on Vinted.

TUESDAY

I had planned a day trip to go to the seaside to do some vintage shopping, so I wanted to be super comfy. My frill-hem sleeve jeans are from a small French brand called Et Suzette. I paired them with the coolest original 1980s knit jumper from Vinted. I LOVE a colourful sock, so I popped on these red socks and my old reliable Adidas Gazelles, which do many steps on busy days like this. I couldn’t forget my NYPD baseball cap that I found in a charity shop – it’s the perfect accessory for hiding a bad hair day!

WEDNESDAY

I was back home from being away, and today I wanted to wear all the colours! Spring was definitely in the air. I wore these colourful striped culottes that I found on eBay, paired with one of my favourite charity shop finds, an original 1970s adidas sports top with a dagger collar. The blazer is from the 1980s, made by a brand called Traffic, which was hugely popular in the 80s and 90s. You could find it in a shop called Roches Stores, which is unfortunately long gone now, but it is still a beautiful, well-made piece. My belt is a charity shop find, and the bag I bought over 15 years ago in Topshop in St Stephen’s Green. It’s genuine leather, and I adore it! To finish it off, I added Ted Lapidus 1970s vintage sunglasses from my vintage shop.

THURSDAY

I had a lovely girly day planned – lunch and drinks in town! I wanted to be comfortable but add the wow factor with my amazing 1970s coat. It’s genuine leather, and probably one of my fave finds from Vinted. The temperature had dropped that day, so this kept me warm. I absolutely love pairing some jeans with a classic and simple white t-shirt, and again I love a pop of colour and red was the one today, so I accessorised with a red neck scarf and red socks, and 1980s shoes from eBay.

FRIDAY

Lately, I’ve been really into styling sportswear, so I paired this 1990s striped Adidas top from my vintage shop with these wide-legged jeans from Depop. The sandals are 90s leather from Vinted, and I’m really trying to wear more hats, so I popped on this fab wool box hat from eBay that I have had for a few years. I finished off the outfit with my cashmere jumper around my waist and some tassel beads and shells around my neck. I had to add another pop of colour with a bright yellow polkadot bag from Vinted.

SATURDAY

On Saturday, I channelled my inner Carrie Bradshaw. I bought these beautiful 100% wool culotte trousers from Vinted last week, and I had to put them on straight away when they arrived. I paired them with a simple black vest and a 1980s pinstripe blazer. I accessorised it with two large floral brooches and added layers of pearls to finish the look. I wore my 80s vintage Baldan Shoes with a pop of zebra print and a gold vintage bag from a lovely vintage shop called Renegade Vintage Clothing.

SUNDAY

Another week comes to an end, and the time is flying! Sunday was a day of getting ready for the next week and relaxing, so I wanted to be super comfy. I wore my fave striped trousers from my shop – I adore polkadot! I paired them with an amazing t-shirt with the iconic Sinead O Connor on it from a small Irish business called Wornxbred. It was chilly, so I added my 1970s Irish Aran to keep me warm. It was a gift from a friend passed down from her mother, so I really treasure it. To finish off the look, I added another hat from my collection with a Dalmatian print, which I found on eBay, and paired that with kitten heels from Depop. I popped on a tote bag, which is always an accessory of mine when I’m out and about.
