A buzzy new British comedy series ticks many boxes in our lives. Enter Alice and Steve, the new six-episode British must-watch that’s heralding in a new era of television: the wrong-com. Having just landed on Disney+, Alice and Steve is from the producers of Baby Reindeer and Sex Education, and won best comedy at CANNESERIES this year, so you already know you’re in for a good time.
Written by Sophie Goodhart and starring the legendary Nicola Walker (Unforgotten, The Split), Jemaine Clement (What We Do in the Shadows, Avatar, Flight of the Conchords), Joel Fry (Curella) and Yali Topol Margalith (The Tattooist of Auschwitz), the show is being billed as the ultimate anti-romcom.
