One Year Later: Anticipating Our Return to Berlin for Personalization Pioneers

Following a successful event in New York, Dynamic Yield is heading back to Germany to bring our Personalization Pioneers Summit to Private Roof Club in Berlin on Thursday, September 6th, 2018!

Since last fall, our signature event for personalization professionals has been gathering hundreds of leaders and marketers from a number of different organizations, backgrounds, and disciplines to discuss the future of the consumer experience. Our past summits in New York, Singapore, and Berlin (where it all first started) brought together 345+ people across 135 brands, and featured riveting keynotes from a wide variety of brands and industry leaders, including URBN Brands, Sephora SEA, LFC, Stitch Fix, Mister Spex, NBCUniversal, and CB Insights.

This year, the action-packed day features keynotes from brands like HelloFresh, Chal-Tec, MediaMarkt, and McKinsey, who will share insights, testimonials, use cases and must-know strategies for all personalization practitioners. Attendees will hear first-hand accounts of how personalization has been a game-changing approach for driving ROI. From learning how to initially implement a personalization suite, what steps to take to create a functional, omnichannel customer experience to how these brands began witnessing real returns on their investments. Plus tips and tactics to become a personalization all-star!

Not only does the summit create an opportunity to connect with other professionals navigating their way through personalization maturity, but it also gives attendees the tools and inspiration they need to tackle pain points in their workflows, refine existing strategies, and shape the future of the customer experience.

The day will be filled with knowledge sharing and information that attendees can take home with them to drive growth and optimize returns for their companies. Periscope by McKinsey’s Dr. Lars Fiedler will examine the increasing relevance, potential impact, and core beliefs on personalization along four main building blocks – data foundation, decision making, design, and distribution. In this context, he will also share insights on how to successfully work with Dynamic Yield.

In this talk, Nathan Richter, a former leader of personalization at URBN, will discuss how he developed a personalization program that included tools, technology, team, processes, and leadership alignment.

15:00 - 15:30 Learn from the Pioneers: Moving Fast in a Slow Environment

Hear from Ben Belinis, eCommerce Manager at Ocado, on how the company bypasses heavy deployment cycles and uses Dynamic Yield to personalize the entire journey – including early user acquisition, the onsite web experience, and email.

15:30 - 16:30 The Best of Personalization

This is a hands-on, interactive session where you’ll work directly within your account, so please bring your computer.

13:00 - 16:00 Advanced Personalization Strategies

During this intensive workshop, you’ll dive deep into advanced segmentation, user-persona, execution processes, and additional techniques that are essential for your robust personalization strategy. Session 1 attendees are welcome to stay for this advanced strategy session if interested. This is a hands-on, interactive session where you’ll work directly within your account, so please bring your computer.
