Rubrik, a security and AI operations company, and Meditech, an enterprise health record (EHR) platform provider, announced a strategic collaboration to offer native cyber resilience to Meditech self-hosted cloud and on-premises solutions.Rubrik will enable Meditech Expanse healthcare providers the option to accelerate cloud adoption with confidence, and give on-premises operators the benefits of cyber resilience from Rubrik Security Cloud.

The FBI reports that the healthcare industry is a top target for ransomware and cyber attacks. Rubrik’s collaboration with Meditech provides a cloud-based solution to keep hospital operations running and patient care uninterrupted, regardless of where their data lives.

The Rubrik Security Cloud integration will ensure that the organizations’ most critical data is immutable and rapidly recoverable during a cyber incident so that healthcare organizations can maintain continuity of care. For both self-hosted cloud and the installed base of on-premises health systems, Rubrik helps Meditech customers recover quickly and diminish financial and operational risks of downtime during a cyber event.

Availability: 
Rubrik Security Cloud for Meditech Expanse is available immediately for select self-hosted cloud customers. Rubrik is also offering early access for native integration with Meditech on-premises customer deployments.
