Courts and Crime

Clavicular made headlines last month after being accused of firing at a dead alligator and livestreaming it

Clavicular has been charged with a misdemeanor for unlawfully discharging a firearm in public. In March, the 20-year-old “looksmaxxing” streamer, born Braden Peters, made headlines after he appeared to fire at a dead alligator while livestreaming in the Florida Everglades.

He has not been arrested and was not charged with harming the alligator, according to The New York Times. Peters is scheduled to appear in Miami-Dade County Court on May 20.

Also facing charges in the incident are Andrew Morales, known as “Cuban Tarzan” on social media, and Yabdiel Annibal Cotto Torres, known as “Baby Alien.”

Following the livestream, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission issued a March 26 statement on X that it was “aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator. FWC officers are looking into the incident and will provide additional information when available.”

Peters’ lawyers, Steven Kramer and Jeffrey Neiman, said in a statement on Wednesday that he “has been summoned to appear for a misdemeanor charge that stems from following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide.” “He relied on that guidance,” the attorneys stated. “No animals or people were harmed. We are confident that once the full picture is understood, people will see this for what it is.”

In March, Peters was separately arrested in Fort Lauderdale on battery charges after he allegedly instigated a fight between two women and then posted the video on social media. He was also sued for battery, emotional distress, and fraud in April and accused of inflicting physical, emotional, and psychological damage by 18-year-old influencer Alorah Ziva, which Peters denies.

Last month, Peters said that he would be quitting drugs after being hospitalized for a suspected overdose. The streamer recently stated that he would spend the summer “sobermaxing.”
