With summer just around the corner, there’s nothing like drinking an ice-cold, crisp, and refreshing pint glass of beer in the middle of a hot afternoon. It gives you an opportunity to cool down, sit back, and relax during a long and busy week. And now two very popular beer companies are coming together on a new collaboration that’s designed to enjoy a cold brew and appreciate that you made it yourself — just in time for the summertime.

This summer, you can have your very own Lagunitas taproom at home. The California brewing company has teamed up with Pinter on a new brewer that lets you craft your own beer — buy it now at Pinter.com for $249.

Lagunitas x Pinter

Release date: April 16

“Lagunitas started as a homebrew, and that hands-on, experimental spirit has been part of our DNA ever since,” says Hannah Dray, Chief Marketing Officer at Lagunitas, in a statement. “Partnering with Pinter brings that story full circle, giving people the chance to brew a legacy American Pale Ale at home, from a deep archive of unconventional brews. We know how much people love our most iconic beers, and this gives us an exciting new way to reconnect them with historic recipes they’re eager to see return and the stories inspired by those brews that they hold dear.”

The brewer delivers the ease of use of Pinter and the crisp, clean tastes of Lagunitas’s American Pale Ale. The partnership features a handcrafted take on a Lagunitas original recipe for “Lil Sumpin’ Easy” ale, with more recipes to come later in 2026.

Here’s how it works: Once you receive the Lagunitas x Pinter brewer, mix brewing ingredients with water and let it brew for four to seven days. Then chill the brewer in a refrigerator for an additional three days to let it develop and naturally carbonate for a nice and cold finish. Next, tap the fresh draft beer and enjoy the goodness that you made. The process takes about seven to 10 days from start to finish, but the end result is worth it. There’s no need to bottle or keg; just enjoy.

“Pinter is honored to team up with Lagunitas, one of the pioneers of craft beer, for our biggest U.S. collab yet,” says Paul Benner, U.S. CEO of Pinter, in a press release. “Now, fans can brew a beer at home inspired by an all-time favorite from the past. This is a chance to enjoy real Lagunitas flavor in a whole new way, tapped straight from your own Pinter. We can’t wait for people to enjoy a pint of Sumpin’ Easy!”

The Lagunitas-branded Pinter machine makes 12 pints per use, as it includes Lagunitas glassware.
