Whether you're hosting a World Cup party or throwing a barbecue, here’s how to save on the essentials with DashPass

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Rolling Stone may receive an affiliate commission.

Summertime means barbecues, backyard hangs, and — this summer — plenty of soccer watch parties with the FIFA World Cup 2026™. But there’s something else worth getting excited about that can help make all of those things more fun and more affordable: DoorDash’s Summer of DashPass savings event.

Every year, DoorDash puts on a multi-week savings event for its DashPass subscribers, offering thousands of exclusive discounts on deliveries from restaurants, grocery stores, and big box retailers. That means you can save when you order food, drinks, or even a forgotten streaming device while hosting that soccer watch party.

Summer of DashPass deals are only available to DashPass subscribers, but the service is worth it even without the summer savings.

  • DashPass members get unlimited $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees (on eligible orders), making every order cheaper.
  • You’ll also get 5% back in DoorDash credits on pickup orders, and more exclusive deals outside of the Summer of DashPass discounts.
  • Exclusive Lyft ride benefits when you link your DashPass and Lyft accounts.

Best of all? DashPass starts with a 30-day free trial, so you can start saving before you start paying. Sign up for the free trial here. After the free trial ends, DashPass costs $9.99 per month or $96 per year.

DoorDash Summer of DashPass Deals

DashPass members can save up to 25% to 50% off with select restaurants and brands participating in the event, from Subway and Chipotle, to 7-11 and Kroger, to Purina and Neutrogena. Plus, over 100,000 local businesses are participating as well. And these deals are significant, with offers like BOGO discounts on whole meals and big savings on bulk orders — all timed to the World Cup.

DoorDash is also offering its members a chance to nab tickets to World Cup games, including the final. “The FIFA World Cup is coming to North America, and we’re going all out for DashPass members,” said Rob Edell, VP of DashPass at DoorDash, in a statement. “This year’s Summer of DashPass is the biggest yet — we’re talking exclusive watch parties, free buses to the stadium, ticket giveaways, and a trip to the Final. And when you’re watching from home, we’ve got deals on everything from groceries and snacks to a brand new TV.”
