'Let You In'

The three-part docuseries arrives on Netflix on May 30

Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for Kylie, an upcoming docuseries centered on the life and career of global pop icon Kylie Minogue.

Released on Tuesday (May 5), the preview blends newly recorded commentary from Minogue with archival footage spanning decades, including behind-the-scenes moments from film sets, live performances, and intimate scenes with family and friends. “They’re convincing me to let you in,” she says in the clip, hinting at an unprecedented level of personal access.

Directed by Michael Harte — known for projects such as Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie — the series is largely soundtracked by Minogue’s 2010 hit “All the Lovers.” The trailer shows the 57-year-old reflecting on personal and professional challenges, including the pressures of global fame and her widely publicized 2005 diagnosis with breast cancer. Appearances from Minogue’s sister, Dannii Minogue, ex-boyfriend Jason Donovan, and music producer Peter Waterman add further context and insight into her journey.

Trending Stories

Minogue first gained recognition on the Australian soap Neighbours before launching a music career with her 1988 debut album. Since then, she has released 17 studio albums, become the highest-selling Australian female artist of all time, and earned numerous accolades, including Grammy and Brit Awards. Her resilience — returning to the stage after cancer treatment and continually reinventing her sound remains central to her legacy.

Following the release of her 2024 album, Tension II, and her 2025 global Tension Tour, Kylie positions itself as a reflective, career-spanning portrait of an artist ready to open up like never before. The three-part docuseries Kylie becomes available for streaming on Netflix on May 30.
