The Knicks head into Game 2 of the NBA Finals with a remarkable 12-game playoff win streak, the best run since San Antonio in 1999. That 1998-99 season holds particular resonance this year; it was the last time the Knicks and Spurs met in the Finals, and New York’s most recent Eastern Conference championship.
That’s why it’s no surprise the Knicks are especially motivated this year, leading them to steal a win in San Antonio behind Jalen Brunson’s 30-point game and Karl-Anthony Towns’ double-double.
Despite not being on sale on Ticketmaster yet, resale sites have already listed tickets for the Knicks’ first home game on June 8. Some season-ticket holders are selling stubs, while other listings are likely speculative resellers betting they’ll be able to get tickets and flip them. Since the Knicks won Game 1, many listings have more than doubled in price. On StubHub, tickets start at an eye-watering $10,163 for the upper sections for the first game at Madison Square Garden.
If, like most fans, you’ll be catching the games on TV, they air on ABC, which you can watch with an over-the-air antenna or a live-TV service like DirecTV or Sling.
If you’re looking to buy tickets to the games, they’ll be available through Ticketmaster. On-sale info hasn’t been listed yet. Resale tickets can also be found on sites like StubHub and SeatGeek. Here’s what to know and how much you can expect to pay.
Tickets to the Knicks’ first home game run over $10,000 for the upper sections, while 100-level seats start at $11,345.
