Foo Fighters are back with Your Favorite Toy, and they’re marking the release of their 12th studio album with a sold-out show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on April 28. They’ll follow that show with dates in Europe through July, before returning to North America in August. The band has several festival dates, too, including Bottlerock in Napa, Mad Cool in Madrid, and Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, meaning they’ll spend most of the remainder of the year on the road.
For the band’s first sold-out date in Connecticut, the band is using Ticketmaster’s face-value exchange, meaning tickets are non-transferable and can only be resold through Ticketmaster’s resale page. That date features support from Frankie and the Witch Fingers.
For the North American dates, they’ll bring along fellow hard rock heavyweights Queens of the Stone Age on most nights of the tour, save for the Fargo date and the Los Angeles date, the latter of which will feature Gustavo Dudamel and the L.A. Philharmonic. They’ll also have support from Mannequin Pussy and Gouge Away across the North American dates. The first run of European dates, meanwhile, features support from Royel Otis, Inhaler, and Idles.
As for the new album, Rolling Stone’s Jon Dolan wrote, “Your Favorite Toy can be slashing and scabrous; sometimes it’s downright bleak (as on the moody assessment of fame “Child Actor” or the pessimistic, politically-tinged “Amen, Caveman”). But at 10 fast, extremely catchy songs, it flies by and demands repeat immersion.”
The band also dropped a video for the track “Window,” which follows a window washer’s ascent up a building as he takes in the various (often chaotic) goings-on inside.
Several of the band’s upcoming dates have sold out already for the North American leg, including their Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Vancouver stops. For sold-out shows, you can find tickets on resale sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, and VividSeats. Here’s what to know about finding Foo Fighters tickets, and how much you can expect to pay.
Prices for the band’s Detroit show start at a little over $100 on StubHub, while seats for the sold-out Chicago show start at roughly $115. The band’s Hollywood Bowl show starts at around $150 for upper sections.
Tickets for the Foo Fighters’ August date in Cleveland start at around $65, while the Philadelphia show starts at around $134. GA pit tickets for the Philadelphia show start at $368. SeatGeek also lets you see seats by row and section.
Tickets for the band’s Allegiant Stadium stop in Las Vegas start at under $70, while the nearly sold-out Washington, D.C. stop starts at $134. VividSeats also rates seats by value, making it easier to avoid overpaying.
If you’re looking for international dates, TicketNetwork is a good option, as it has resale tickets to the band’s European dates, as well as the U.S. and Canada shows. You can get 150 off orders over $500 with code RS150, or $300 off orders of $1,000+ with code RS300.
