Aviator Nation Just Expanded Its MLB Collection — And Fan...

America's Favorite Pastime

Last year’s lineup got a major upgrade with new team options and the brand’s famously comfortable game-day staples

Sure, baseball might be America’s favorite pastime, but there’s a bigger sport that citizens of the United States love just as much: shopping. And now, California-based brand Aviator Nation is giving us the chance to combine both obsessions with its newest MLB collection.

The iconic comfort-first label just released a new lineup of hoodies, tees, and sweatpants featuring 13 Major League Baseball teams — a massive expansion from last year’s drop, which had about half as many options. If you’re a fan of the Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, Cubs, Mets, Phillies, Braves, Astros, Giants, Padres, Mariners, Tigers, or D-backs, congratulations: Your team made the cut.

If not, you’ve got two options: Switch allegiances (these styles are really testing loyalties out here), or wait and hope the celebrity-loved brand expands the roster next time around.

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Aviator Nation and bring this collection to more fans and markets. The brand’s distinct point of view, paired with the rich history of our teams, creates a product that stands out and reflects the growing demand for elevated apparel inspired by the spirit of baseball,” said Jamie Leece, SVP Business – Global Consumer Products, Retail and XR at Major League Baseball, in a release.

Pricing lands in a pretty solid spot for officially licensed merch, with some boyfriend tees starting around $89 and the brand’s famous sweatshirts coming in near $189. Every piece is made in Los Angeles and feels like a serious upgrade from your standard game-day sweats.

Available in unisex sizes XS to 2XL.

One of my favorite things about Aviator Nation is how well its pieces hold up after countless washes. The shape stays intact, the colors don’t fade, and even if a few beers end up on your hoodie during the seventh inning stretch — or your Cracker Jacks somehow stick to your pocket — a quick wash cycle puts everything back to perfect.

“After heavy demand, we are excited to expand our launch to now reach more fans. Being on the road last year, visiting stadiums and connecting with baseball communities across the country was a highlight for our team. The new collection stays true to Aviator Nation’s vintage roots while capturing the spirit of each team,” said Paige Mycoskie, Aviator Nation Founder & CEO, in a release.

Aviator Nation is no stranger to stepping into the sports world. The brand teamed up with the NCAA back in March for a lineup of basketball-themed tees and sweats that sold out almost immediately. With baseball season now in full swing (slight pun intended), this collection could see similar demand.

The MLB drop isn’t the only thing happening right now, either. Aviator Nation also recently launched its Bolt Stitch collection, adding even more options to the mix. The brand continues to make some of our favorite evergreen gifts — whether it’s for birthdays, anniversaries, or an upcoming Father’s Day present — while proving that sweatpants and activewear don’t automatically equal “gave up.” You can stay comfortable and look put together at the same time.

If you don’t want to roll the dice and risk your favorite team disappearing from the lineup, adding a few pieces to your cart sooner rather than later might be the move.
